
On October 26, Tashkent will host an International Scientific and Practical Conference on: “New Central Asia: Challenges and Opportunities in the Era of Global Transformation”.
The event is organized by the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in partnership with the International Institute for Central Asia, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and the German Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
More than 40 foreign delegates from 25 countries will attend the conference, including heads and prominent experts from leading analytical centers in Central Asia, the CIS, the EU, China, India, Türkiye, Pakistan, Malaysia, and other countries.
The agenda includes a discussion of the status and prospects for the development of regional cooperation, consideration of foreign experience in this area, an exchange of views on the role and place of Central Asia in the modern system of global economic relations, and the importance of the region’s cultural and civilizational heritage in strengthening dialogue and trust.
