Tashkent hosts the GameFest 2026
Tashkent hosts one of Central Asia’s largest events, the GameFest 2026, which brings together the video game and animation industries.
This prestigious event in digital technologies has been organized for the third time, with support from the Ministry of Digital Technologies, at the initiative of the Uzbekistan Creative Association and in cooperation with the “Mirzo Ulug‘bek Vorislari” educational center and IT Park Uzbekistan.
This year’s festival has become one of the region’s largest creative industry platforms, given its scale. More than 100 representatives from 40 countries, including investors, animators, programmers, and gaming industry experts, are taking part in the event.

During the event, international networking meetings, masterclasses, panel discussions, and investment pitch sessions will be organized. For example, special masterclasses on animation and video game development will be led by experts from Meta, Warner Bros. Games, and DeAPlaneta Entertainment.
In addition, local startups and developers will have the opportunity to present their projects to representatives of the international venture funds Behold Ventures and Ludus VC.
It should be noted that in recent years, the volume of video game exports has reached $200 million, a 21-fold increase. The GameFest 2026 has served as an important platform for strengthening the country’s position on the global gaming and creative industry map, introducing the “Made in Uzbekistan” brand to international markets, and attracting new investments.
