Tashkent hosted International Scientific Practical Conference on “Current problems and prospects of sports medicine”.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Olympic Committee and the Republican Scientific Practical Center for Sports Medicine, was attended by specialists of the country, as well as from Belarus, Japan, Russia and Turkey.

At the conference, reports were heard on the past and future of sports medicine of Uzbekistan, genetics of sports in Uzbekistan and its prospects, modern methods of rehabilitation in sports medicine, sports genes and relevance of their use in sports, innovative technologies of physical culture in rehabilitation programs, studies of full genome in sports, problems of anthropometry and sports hygiene in children’s, adolescent sports”.

The conference will serve to organize scientific and practical assistance and implement innovative approaches in the sports medicine.

The conference will continue its work in Samarkand.
