Tashkent hosts an international conference celebrating the 690th anniversary of Amir Temur

An international conference titled “The Role and Significance of Amir Temur and the Timurid Civilization in World History and Culture” has begun at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

At this conference, organized on the initiative of the Head of State, the legacy of Amir Temur and the role of the Eastern Renaissance civilization in world history are being discussed.

Hundreds of scholars and experts from over 20 countries are attending the conference.
