Tashkent hosted an intellectual-entertainment quiz devoted to the 100th anniversary of national diplomacy. The date symbolizes the century of humanitarian ties, which began with the creation in 1925 of the All-Union Society for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries (VOKS), the predecessor of Rossotrudnichestvo.
Yevgeny Primakov, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, delivered a welcoming address to the participants, emphasizing the importance of public diplomacy as the basis for humanitarian cooperation and intercultural dialogue.

More than 100 students from 16 universities – 13 branches of Russian universities and 3 state universities of Uzbekistan took part in the quiz. The program included seven thematic rounds in which participants demonstrated erudition, creativity, and team spirit.
According to the competition results, the Lomonosov Moscow State University branch in Tashkent took first place, the Saint Petersburg State University branch in Tashkent – second, and MGIMO-Tashkent – third.

Irina Staroselskaya, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Uzbekistan, presented prizes and certificates to the winners, noting the high level of training among the participants.
The event became a platform for strengthening friendship and cultural interaction between the youth of Russia and Uzbekistan.
