The State Committee for Tourism Development held a meeting with the Chairman of Commonwealth of Russia – Uzbekistan Society M.Khusanov and the Committee leaders.

The State Committee for Tourism Development held a meeting with the Chairman of Commonwealth of Russia – Uzbekistan Society M.Khusanov and the Committee leaders.

Cooperation issues were discussed between the Committee and Commonwealth of Russia – Uzbekistan Society, involving our compatriots living in Russia in events to promote Uzbekistan’s tourism brand, establishing cooperation with state and non-state organizations of Russia working in the sphere of tourism to increase the tourist flow to Uzbekistan.

M.Khusanov highlighted the recent changes in tourism in the country and the beginning of new era in this sphere.

Following the meeting, the Committee and Commonwealth of Russia – Uzbekistan Society agreed to organize a number of joint events in 2020, in which our compatriots living in Russia will promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in Russia.
