Substandard medicines and medical supplies worth nearly 158 million UZS destroyed in Namangan
The Namangan Regional Department of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement, under the Prosecutor General's Office, is implementing wide-ranging measures to enforce the executive orders of judicial bodies and other relevant agencies.
The Yangi Namangan district branch of the Bureau, in cooperation with relevant organizations, has destroyed medicines and medical supplies seized as physical evidence in a criminal case, following established procedures.
During the operation, a total of 953 types of medicines and medical supplies, with an approximate total value of 158 million soums, were disposed of in the prescribed manner.

Sohibjon Rafiqov, an official from the Namangan Regional Department of the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau, noted that these medicines and medical supplies were seized as physical evidence in a criminal case, and their entry into circulation was prohibited based on the relevant decisions of competent authorities.
Throughout the disposal process, special attention was paid to ensuring that the medicines and medical supplies would not harm human health or the environment, and that established sanitation and safety requirements were observed.
The event was conducted in accordance with the procedures and requirements established by law, with the participation of representatives from the CEB district branch and other relevant responsible organizations.
