
A delegation consisting of representatives of South Korean companies visited Kashkadarya region on January 5-8.
During the visit, South Korean businesspeople held talks with the Hokim of Karshi Normumin Kholboyev, where they discussed establishing cooperation, particularly in the production of rubber gloves for medicine, industry, household, and cosmetics.
The South Korean delegation presented its products and projects and expressed interest in organizing production in Karshi. The city’s Hokim noted that he is ready to provide all the necessary support for implementing these projects.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to develop cooperation and begin practical work.
During the visit, the delegation members visited several sites in Karshi. In particular, they got acquainted with the activities of the small industrial zones “Qavali” and “Buyuk Turon”, the Sulton Tex Group cluster, the Hyuper Trade company, and the multidisciplinary private clinics Brosmed and Javohir Medical, discussed issues of establishing cooperation and reached agreements.
South Korean businesspeople assessed the infrastructure and capabilities of the region and expressed interest in implementing promising projects.
Following the visit, businesspeople from the two countries signed agreements to strengthen cooperation, attract investments, and implement joint projects.
