19 two-storey and 4 four-storey houses, built in 1960-s, are located in this makhalla. To date, they need to be repaired, engineering-communication networks are also outdated.

In order to update appearance of such makhallas, “Obod makhalla” (“Prosperous neighborhood”) program was recently adopted, which also includes Ibrohim ota makhalla. All multi-storey houses, streets and paths are being repaired, the territory of the makhalla is being landscaped. 7 two-storey affordable houses and modern pre-school education institution is being built. It is also envisaged to erect makhalla guzar according to standard project, reception point of utility payments, children’s and sports grounds.

The President of the country noted that it is necessary to visit each house, study aspirations and needs of each family, help to solve problems, attract entrepreneurs to makhalla and create jobs.

People, living in these makhallas also have their dreams and hopes, plans for the future. People should feel changes in our country, results of the adopted programs, first of all, where they live, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev. 

The Head of the state spoke with activists and residents of the makhalla. Providing the population with work, improvement of cities and villages, the essence of ongoing reforms on development of preschool and school education, education of youth as harmoniously developed individuals were noted. It was emphasized that “Obod qishloq”, “Obod makhalla” and “Youth – our future” programs are designed to improve the living conditions of the population, to support the youth.
