Member of the national team Sergey Fomin became Uzbekistan’s No. 1 tennis player following the release of the new weekly ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).

Sergey Fomin, who demonstrated the most significant progress among the eight Uzbekistan tennis players included in the updated ranking, regained the title of Uzbekistan’s top-ranked player after a three-year break.

After winning the M25 Manama 2025 Tennis Tournament, he rose 47 positions in the ranking, overtaking Humoyun Sultanov.

Sergey Fomin rose to 358th place in the ATP rankings. Khumoyun Sultanov, who dropped 46 positions to 442nd in the ATP ranking, lost 16 points and became Uzbekistan’s second-ranked player.
