Senators exchanged views with members of foreign parliaments
During the XII Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Samarkand, members of the Senate met with parliamentary delegations.
In particular, an exchange of views was held with parliamentary delegations led by A. Kearns, a member of the International Development Committee of the House of Commons of the UK Parliament; D. Carden, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee; James O'Connor, Chairman of the Irish Parliament's Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment; and A. Trembitsky, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting with members of the British Parliament, the further development of multifaceted relations and the strengthening of inter-parliamentary cooperation were considered.

At the meeting with members of the Irish Parliament, discussions focused on activating inter-parliamentary cooperation, information technology, agriculture, education, attracting new technologies, and implementing joint projects within the framework of partnership with the European Union.

At the meeting with members of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, the further intensification of inter-parliamentary relations was considered.
During the dialogue, it was emphasized that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia is developing at the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership, thanks to the political will and trust-based relationship between the leaders of the two countries.
