Assistant to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva participated in a roundtable discussion in Qatar dedicated to the International Day to Protect Education from Attack.
In her speech, Saida Mirziyoyeva noted that Uzbekistan is interested in quality education, especially for girls and women, including beyond the borders.

“In 2018, at the initiative of the President, a professional education center was opened in Termez, where about 700 Afghan citizens have already been trained, of which 200 are girls and women. This is very important since Afghanistan has an acute shortage of qualified medical personnel in maternal and child healthcare”, Saida Mirziyoyeva said.
The Assistant to the President confirmed her readiness to continue training Afghan girls and women in the necessary professions to prevent a humanitarian crisis with the assistance of the Qatari government and the Education Above All Foundation.
“There is no better protection for a woman than free access to education”, Saida Mirziyoyeva concluded.
