Saida Mirziyoyeva highlights the importance of the practical results of cooperation with the United States
A meeting of the American – Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. This has been announced by the Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva.
Representatives of more than 100 American companies attended the event. During the meeting, the parties discussed new opportunities to attract investment, develop business, and implement joint projects aimed at strengthening the economic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States.
Saida Mirziyoyeva expressed her gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan for his trust and the establishment of the Council, noting that this initiative opens up broad prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries.
She also expressed special gratitude to Marco Rubio, his spouse Jeanette Dousdebes Rubio, and Sergio Gor for supporting the initiative, attention to Uzbekistan, and willingness to promote the development of bilateral partnership.
According to the Head of the Presidential Administration, the key task at this stage is to ensure the practical implementation of the agreements.
“Now it is important that the agreements are followed by real action: new investments, enterprises, and jobs. This is the exact result we want to achieve by strengthening cooperation with the United States”, noted Saida Mirziyoyeva.
The activities of the American – Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council are designed to strengthen business ties, expand investment cooperation and create new opportunities for joint economic initiatives.
