
The Russian Film Festival is taking place in Uzbekistan from May 29 to 31 this year.

These film screenings are part of the Days of Russian Culture, organized jointly by the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

The opening of the Russian Film Festival in Uzbekistan was held at the National Palace of Cinema Art of Uzbekistan. The event featured speeches by the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Olga Lyubimova, and the Director of the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shukhrat Rizayev. It was noted that cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries are becoming increasingly strong, especially as cooperation in cinema is reaching a new level.

After the opening, cinema enthusiasts enjoyed the screening of the film “Blood Type”.
As part of the Russian Film Festival, the following films will be shown: “Cultural Comedy”, “The Return of the Runaway Parrot”, “Fedya. The People’s Footballer”, “9 Seconds”, and “Air”.
