Rosatom presents advanced developments at Power Uzbekistan 2026
Rosatom State Corporation presented advanced solutions at the International Exhibition “Energy, Energy Conservation, Nuclear Energy, Alternative Energy Sources – Power Uzbekistan”, held in Tashkent from May 12 to 14. The event brought together more than 14,500 representatives of the energy industry from 12 countries worldwide.
A mock-up of an integrated nuclear power plant based on the RITM-200H and VVER-1000 reactors was showcased at the Rosatom stand. The format allows for the construction of both small- and large-capacity nuclear power plants on the same site. Upon completion, the new configuration will meet up to 14 percent of the country’s energy consumption.
The visitors also became familiar with solutions for electric mobility, including a lithium-ion cell, a lithium-ion battery module, and a universal battery. Rosatom’s projects span almost the entire technological chain in this industry, from the extraction of raw materials and the production of key components to the creation of charging infrastructure and the recycling of spent batteries. At the end of 2025, Rosatom put into pilot operation Russia’s first gigafactory for lithium-ion energy storage devices in Kaliningrad region and is preparing to launch a second such factory in Moscow.
