During the continental judo championship in Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, a regular meeting of the Judo Union of Asia was held. Aziz Kamilov, Chairman of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan, was elected Vice President of the Judo Union of Asia for Strategic Development and Marketing at this event.

It should be noted that within the framework of the continental judo championship, which features 220 athletes from 23 countries, Zamakhshari Bekmurodov, competing in the -66 kg weight category, won a silver medal.
