Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia Reinis Trokša.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties considered proposals for further strengthening the political dialogue, increasing trade, economic and investment interaction, and intensifying cultural and humanitarian ties.

The importance of deepening partnerships in digitalization, ICT, and green technologies was noted.

Views were exchanged on the schedule of upcoming joint events, particularly the 18th round of inter-MFA consultations and the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
