Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Munira Aminova met with the President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) Abdullah Eren, in Ankara, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
During the talks, the parties considered the current state of Uzbekistan – Türkiye cooperation within the framework of ongoing programs and summed up the interim results of joint initiatives. Special attention was paid to identifying promising areas for further collaboration.
The priorities of TIKA’s activities in Uzbekistan for the near future, as well as potential mechanisms for assistance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in implementing joint projects, were discussed. A special emphasis was placed on sustainable development and on aligning initiatives with the goals of Uzbekistan’s Development Strategy until 2030.
The parties stressed the importance of expanding cooperation, focusing on practice and effectiveness, and agreed to implement several initiatives to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Following the meeting, mutual interest in continuing a constructive and mutually beneficial partnership was confirmed.
