President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviews education reform results and modern scientific infrastructure
On the eve of Teachers and Mentors Day, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited New Uzbekistan University and viewed an exhibition highlighting reforms and plans in education.
The Head of State was briefed on efforts to ensure continuity across all levels of education in the country, the results achieved, and plans. The Preschool Education, School Education, Gifted School Students, Vocational Education, and Higher Education pavilions showcased reforms being implemented at all stages of education, from early childhood to professional training.
The President then toured the university’s educational and scientific facilities. He was briefed on the opportunities available to students at the Future Engineers platform, Bloomberg Laboratory, physics teaching laboratory, engineering sciences study hall, and Apple Training Center.
The work of the IDROCK Artificial Intelligence Cluster, biotechnology and bioinformatics, materials science, laser and nanotechnology laboratories, as well as the ADM mechanical engineering laboratory, was also presented. These facilities are designed to integrate students’ theoretical knowledge with practical training, research, and project work.
The Head of State also spoke with the university’s faculty and students, as well as its international partners involved in implementing international educational programs.
During the visit, the President posed for a commemorative photo with leading teachers and mentors from across the country.
