On June 7, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received a delegation of foreign investors, including the Chairman of the Board of Al Mirqab Capital, Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, and the Senior Managing Director of the investment company BlackRock, Adebayo Ogunlesi.

The meeting focused on developing mutually beneficial cooperation and implementing promising investment projects in Uzbekistan.

Priority areas were identified, including major infrastructure and industrial projects under public-private partnerships, such as the modernization of gas and electricity distribution networks, water supply systems, the construction of energy generation and storage facilities, high-speed railways, and the development of real estate and business infrastructure.

Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to adopt a roadmap for systematically advancing prospective projects.
