President of Uzbekistan attends the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games

As part of his visit to Bishkek, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the opening ceremony of the Sixth World Nomad Games.

The event, held at Bishkek Arena, was attended by leaders of SCO member states and other guests.

The tournament brings together more than 3,000 athletes from over 90 countries, including 141 representatives of Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan’s athletes will compete in 30 sports, including kurash, sambo, arm wrestling, archery, equestrian sports, and other disciplines.

The guests were presented with a theatrical performance showcasing the rich culture and history, traditions, and customs of nomadic peoples.
