At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in the city of Baku on a state visit.

At Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the President was welcomed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and other senior officials.

In honor of the distinguished guest, the national flags of both countries were raised, and a guard of honor was lined up.

According to the visit agenda, the second meeting of the Supreme Intergovernmental Council and other high-level events are scheduled to take place today.
