President of the Republic of Uzbekistan receives Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin.
On November 1, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, who has arrived in Tashkent to attend the meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government.
Warmly welcoming the guest, the Head of the state noted with satisfaction that regular meetings of the leaders of the two brotherly countries and agreements reached contributed to strengthening centuries-old Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership.
Askar Mamin expressed sincere gratitude to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings and best wishes from the First President of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The established constructive political dialogue, growth of mutual trade, expanding cooperation in investment, banking, finance, transport communication and other areas were highlighted at the meeting. Interregional ties and cultural-humanitarian exchange have intensified within the framework of the Year of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan.
Current issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as international and regional policy were discussed.
