President of Azerbaijan accorded official welcome

A formal welcoming ceremony for the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who is paying a state visit to Uzbekistan, was held at the Kuksaroy Residence.

A guard of honor was lined up in the square, decorated with the national flags of the two countries, in honor of the President of Azerbaijan.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium. The national anthems of both countries were played.

The leaders inspected the guard of honor and introduced the members of their official delegations.

High-level talks commenced after a joint photo session.
