President of Albania learns about Uzbekistan’s scholarly heritage
During his official visit to Uzbekistan, President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj toured the Islamic Civilization Center in Tashkent.
The Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nuriddin Ismoilov, and other officials accompanied the distinguished guest.
The President of Albania became acquainted with the exhibitions “Civilizations before Islam”, “The Era of the First Renaissance”, “The Era of the Second Renaissance”, and “New Uzbekistan – New Renaissance”. The exhibitions are presented in strict chronological sequence and clearly demonstrate the contribution of our great scholars and thinkers to the development of world science, philosophy, and spirituality. Of particular interest to the distinguished guest was the fact that the modern idea of the Third Renaissance is based precisely on this strong historical foundation.
During the visit, the President of Albania also became acquainted with rare manuscripts and unique historical exhibits from the eras of the Samanids, Karakhanids, Khwarezmshahs, and Timurids, which serve as convincing evidence that the history of Uzbek statehood was based not only on political power, but also on high intellectual and spiritual potential.
The President of the Republic of Albania left an entry in the Book of Honored Guests of the Islamic Civilization Center.
