The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has signed a Decree on awarding the participants of the Second World War.

The Decree is signed to widely celebrate May 9 in the country – the Day of Remembrance and Honor as a Nationwide holiday, perpetuate the memory of the ancestors who died in the Second World War, honoring veterans who, even today, are in our ranks, contribute to raising the prestige of the Motherland and the spiritual-moral education of young people, as well as material encouragement of participants and disabled people of war on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Victory over fascism.

A one-time monetary reward of 18,000,000 UZS has been established for each participant and disabled person of the Second World War.
