The Third Uzbekistan – Belarus Women’s Business Forum will take place in Vitebsk on August 28-29.
The event was initiated by the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tanzila Narbayeva, and the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Natalia Kochanova.
A working group’s meeting devoted to the organization of a high-level business forum was held under the leadership of Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Affairs and National Security of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleinik and Chairman of the Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investment and Tourism of the Oliy Majlis Alisher Azamkhodjayev.

Preparations for the forum were discussed in detail at the meeting. The parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen cooperation.
The importance of maintaining inter-parliamentary ties and fostering dialogue through effective platforms was emphasized.
As is known, the results of the previous two business forums were fruitful. The upcoming forum will help bring the mutually beneficial partnership to a new level.
The event will feature several panel sessions with the participation of women entrepreneurs from both countries, covering various areas of the economy.
The participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, present promising projects, and expand trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian ties.
It is expected that, within the framework of the event, agreements will be signed between representatives of the business community and women entrepreneurs from the two countries, deepening cooperation, implementing joint projects, and supporting promising initiatives in priority economic sectors.
