The Minister of Youth Policy and Sports Adham Ikramov met with ICYF President and Vice President of World Ethnosport Confederation Taha Ayhan.

At the meeting, an agreement was reached on strengthening and developing cooperation between the two parties, effectively organizing an International Youth Forum in October 2023 in Samarkand within the framework of the OIC and implementing joint projects in education, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The opinion was also expressed about the joint organization of the International Ethnosport Festival, which is scheduled to be held in Khiva on September 7-10.

Issues of holding the Islamic World Youth Forum at the end of this year, applying for the status of the Youth Capital of the Islamic world for 2025, becoming a member of the Youth Forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, establishing the Organization’s clubs in higher education institutions of the country, and implementing projects for young people in education, entrepreneurship, and vocational training were discussed.
