Uzbekistan delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dilshod Akhatov. The Czech Republic was represented by a delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Tlapa.

Prospects for further development of relations in various fields, in particular, strengthening political dialogue, enhancing trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as expanding the legal framework for cooperation were discussed. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues.

An agreement was reached on active promotion of economic diplomacy in bilateral relations by facilitating the establishment and expansion of contacts between businessmen of the two countries, creating favorable conditions for mutual trade and implementing joint investment projects.

The Czech side praised the ongoing large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan and expressed its readiness to provide with necessary support.
