Workshop on this theme took place at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The event is organized by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan.

The workshop was attended by senior officials of ministries and agencies, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of the regions and Tashkent city, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the faculty of Tashkent State University of Economics, Tashkent State University of Law and others.

The main goal is to familiarize participants with the methods of regulatory impact assessment, to discuss its implementation.

The workshop was held in the form of lectures, discussions, consultations, group work.

Methods for assessing the impact of legislative acts, as well as the specifics and results of implementation of this system in other countries were discussed at the event.
