Practical cooperation with Belarus continues to develop steadily
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Uzbekistan Alexander Ogorodnikov visited the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.
During a meeting with Alisher Agzamkhodjayev, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investment and Tourism, the parties discussed the bilateral relationship between Uzbekistan and Belarus. They focused on enhancing interparliamentary cooperation and broadening connections in trade, economics, investment, culture, humanitarian efforts, and tourism.
The importance of continuing mutual visits and joint events, as well as developing interparliamentary cooperation, was emphasized.
The parties expressed their readiness to strengthen friendly relations and the strategic partnership between the two countries, expand interparliamentary dialogue, and consistently deepen practical cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.
