As part of the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, a meeting took place between the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Tanzila Narbayeva, and the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Pia Kauma.

At the meeting, the positive outcomes of the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan were highlighted, with particular emphasis on their alignment with international standards and the principles of the OSCE.

The discussion also covered measures to ensure employment and protect citizens’ interests amid global migration processes.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to strengthen cooperation and jointly organize parliamentary forums.
