Polina Kudermetova advances to the Roland Garros qualifying final

The semifinal of the Roland Garros qualifying round was held in Paris.

Maria Timofeeva and Polina Kudermetova are representing Uzbekistan at the tournament. The former lost to Argentina’s María Lourdes Carlé with a score of 6:2, 0:6, 6:4. Polina Kudermetova defeated Bulgaria’s Viktoriya Tomova 7:6, 6:7, 6:3 and advanced to the final. She will now compete against China’s Wang Xiyu. The country’s top-ranked player, Kamilla Rakhimova, will compete in the first round of the main draw.

The prize fund totals $29,137,500.
