The Bukhara Regional Election Commission began work today to organize the voting process to the sounds of the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Members of the commission started to fulfill their duties. The press center staff monitors the elections at a high level. Voters are warmly welcomed at all polling stations in cities and districts.

“The election process increases the legitimacy of power and forms public administration supported by the people”, says the Chairman of Bukhara Regional Territorial Commission Muhammadqosim Olimov. “Polling stations were formed based on the unified electronic voter lists. Each voter was included in only one voter list. 1 million 100 thousand 181 voters are registered in the region’s unified electronic voter list. Early voting was held from October 16 to 23. 109 thousand 930 voters used the right to early voting at polling stations in the region”. 

Election commissions at all levels, in preparation for the elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Local Councils, organized their work in accordance with the requirements of the Election Code based on the principles of legality, openness, transparency, and fairness.
