The International Chess Tournament Dole Open 2025 is currently underway in France.

In the fourth round of the Masters group, Ortik Nigmatov, playing with the white pieces, defeated Indian player Senthil Maran and, having scored 3.5 points, entered the top eight contenders for victory.

Muhiddin Madaminov lost to American player Carissa Yip. Abdumalik Abdusalimov, Saidakbar Saidaliyev, and Khumoyun Bekmurodov drew their respective matches.

Today, in the fifth round, Ortik Nigmatov will play with the black pieces against Savva Vetokhin from Russia. The central match of the round will be the face-off between Jobava and Eljanov.

The international tournament, with a prize fund of €30,880, will run until July 27.
