New opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation
During the visit of a delegation from Jizzakh region to China, important meetings and negotiations were held that contributed to expanding the region’s international economic ties, attracting investment, and establishing high-tech cooperation.
The delegation participated in the 2026 Chongqing International Friendship Cities Cooperation Conference.

The event was attended by representatives of 27 countries, who discussed issues related to the development of trade, economic, investment, and cultural cooperation.
During the panel sessions and business negotiations held as part of the conference, the investment potential, export opportunities, and promising projects underway in Jizzakh region were presented.

At a meeting with entrepreneurs from Chongqing, prospects for cooperation in logistics, agriculture, and industry were discussed.
In Xi'an, members of the delegation participated in the third Uzbekistan – China Interregional Forum and the Silk Road International Exposition.

As part of the forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with Shandong province. Agreements were reached to develop industrial cooperation, produce export-oriented products, and establish joint ventures.
At a meeting with representatives of Chinese companies, plans to create agro-industrial clusters in Jizzakh region, as well as issues related to cotton processing, cultivation of high-yield varieties, and digitalization of agriculture, were discussed.

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, Xi'an International Education University, and Beijing Financial Street Education Investment.

As part of the cooperation, it is planned to implement educational programs that integrate Chinese language learning with professional competencies and to establish a Chinese language and culture center.
