The purpose of the business trip was to address technical issues in electric buses serving Samarkand’s population, prevent similar problems in the future, and optimize the use of these modern vehicles. The need to upgrade the fleet and strengthen the service of electric buses in Samarkand to develop the public transport system was emphasized. The issue of purchasing 80 electric buses for Samarkand at the initial stage and 250 in the future was also discussed.

100 Yutong electric buses have been purchased in Samarkand as part of the EBRD Green City Project.
