Namangan will host meetings with participation of medical specialists of the University of Michigan.

On October 8-9, Namangan will host meetings with participation of medical specialists of the University of Michigan. The visit of American physicians is organized by the National Chamber of Innovative Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Namangan Regional Administration.

A scientific conference will be held in Namangan within the framework of the delegation’s visit. Representatives of the University of Michigan will make presentations on modern approaches to prevention and treatment of diseases. In particular, issues in such areas as urology and training specialists in this direction, medical genetics, cancer and reconstructive surgery, pulmonary diseases will be considered.

On 9 October, the delegation will conduct medical examination in Namangan and consult patients in accordance with their specialization. This consultation will simultaneously become a master class for local physicians, as well as an opportunity to exchange practical experience. 

The program of the visit also includes American physicians visit to Akfa Medline clinic in Tashkent, where they will become familiar with possibilities of the operating unit of the clinic.
