The International Kurash Association (IKA) announced the year’s best athletes.

Uzbekistan’s Mukhsin Khisomiddinov – four-time world champion in kurash, two-time Asian champion, and winner of the Asian Games became the best male athlete of the year. This season, he won the World Series Pro International Tournament’s final prize for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Representative of the Dominican Republic, Audrey Arelis, world champion in kurash and medalist of the World Series Pro International Tournament, was recognized as the best female athlete of the year.
