Modern facilities established for the "Nasaf" customs post
In the Kashkadarya region, consistent efforts are underway to develop customs infrastructure, create favorable working conditions for staff, and improve the quality of services for participants in foreign economic activities.
As part of the implementation of tasks set forth in the February 7, 2025 resolution of the head of our state, the "Nasaf" foreign economic activity customs post in the city of Karshi has been relocated to a new administrative building that meets modern requirements.
In the new building, the necessary conditions have been created for customs officers to carry out their duties effectively, and the service rooms have been furnished with modern equipment.
Additionally, the customs warehouse under the jurisdiction of the Kashkadarya Regional Customs Administration has been renovated, and its surrounding area has been landscaped. This has created favorable conditions for storing goods under customs control and for carrying out relevant customs procedures.
The effectiveness of the services provided by the "Nasaf" FEA customs post is also reflected in its results. In the first eight months of this year, 1,964 customs inspections were conducted at the post, directing over 377 billion 400 million soums in customs payments to the state budget.
The newly created modern infrastructure serves to increase the efficiency of customs services, create favorable conditions for participants in foreign economic activity, and secure state budget revenues.
