The Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Shadmanov met with the World Health Organization Regional Director for Europe Zsuzsanna Jakab.

As reported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, at the meeting, the parties drew attention to positive changes taking place in the country in the sphere of medicine, as well as presence of great potential in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

In particular, Alisher Shadmanov spoke about the reforms carried out in recent years in the country in the healthcare system, improving the quality of medical services for the population, normative documents, long-term plans and programs taken in the sphere.
