These days, sambo athletes from the Sambist Fighting Academy in London are holding a training camp in Tashkent.

Recently, a friendly tournament was held featuring sambo athletes from this club and Tashkent’s youth team representatives.

The team from Tashkent emerged victorious with a score of 2:1. The tournament was attended by Olympic medalist and heads of the International Judo Federation Department Armen Bagdasarov, and Sambist Fighting Academy Oleg Sibilev, Chairman of the Sambo Association of Uzbekistan Alisher Alimov, Master of Sports and international tournament winner Maruf Makhmudov, along with other honored guests, veterans, and young athletes.

Special cups, medals, diplomas, and commemorative gifts were presented to the participants.
