The Secretary General of the Turkic Council stated that the recent accession of Uzbekistan to the Turkic Council became an outstanding event in the life of the organization. He emphasized that he was happy to witness this historic moment.

Warmly recalling the meeting with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on October 4 this year in Tashkent, Baghdad Amreyev noted that it was an unforgettable meeting.

Baghdad Amreyev expressed interest in visiting Tashkent again to hold talks with a number of ministries and agencies of the country to discuss specific issues related to Uzbekistan’s participation in the Turkic Council, as well as cooperation in investment, trade, transport communications and tourism.
