On October 15-21, 2018, Namangan city in Uzbekistan hosted negotiations between the working groups of the Governmental delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on the issues of delimitation and demarcation of Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan State border.

On October 15-21, 2018, Namangan city in Uzbekistan hosted negotiations between the working groups of the Governmental delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on the issues of delimitation and demarcation of Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan State border, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.

At the meeting, the parties described Shakhimardan area within Fergana region adjacent to Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, as well as a part of Kandiyon-Bulok in Namangan region adjacent to Jalal-Abad region in Kyrgyzstan, taking into account the interests of the two countries.

Following the negotiations, a Protocol was signed.

The meeting was held in a traditional spirit of friendship, good neighborliness and constructive dialogue.
