Legacy of great ancestors is the foundation of the Third Renaissance

A spiritual and enlightenment event “New Uzbekistan – Towards the Third Renaissance!” took place at the State Museum of the Timurids History. It commemorated both the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence and the 690th anniversary of Sahibkiran Amir Temur’s birth.

The event, jointly organized with the Ministry of Defense, was attended by People’s Poet of Uzbekistan Iqbol Mirzo, Director of the State Museum of the Timurids History Khurshid Fayziyev, People’s Writer of Uzbekistan Muhammad Ali Akhmedov, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor Abdumajid Madraimov, members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense, museum staff, military personnel, and prominent cultural figures and scholars.

The participants’ presentations emphasized the core importance of the Third Renaissance idea, exploring the scientific and spiritual legacy of our ancestors and its passing to the younger generation, while also promoting devotion to the homeland.

The role of the great commander Amir Temur in state governance and nation-building was also emphasized.

Following the meeting, the guests viewed the museum’s renovated exhibitions.
