China’s Leapmotor announced establishing a joint venture with Uzbekistan’s Evolution Motors in the Central Asian region.

The company began its activities under “Leapmotor CA” (Central Asia). The first official dealership has already opened.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Leapmotor company, the founders of Evolution Motors, lovers of modern electric vehicles, famous artists, media workers, and bloggers.

It was noted that cooperation with Evolution Motors is based on long-term plans.

As part of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for state support for the organization of production of electric vehicles”, Evolution Motors reached a mutually beneficial agreement with one of the well-known Chinese brands, the Leapmotor. The parties began their activities using a two-stage strategic plan based on the contract.

The first stage provides for establishing a joint venture with the subsequent organization of import of finished cars, their spare parts, and their guaranteed service.

The second stage is planned to establish local production of the selected models, considering the domestic market and customer requirements.

Evolution Motors, established in 2022, has earned the trust of many clients and established active cooperation with several prestigious banks in Uzbekistan.
