Leading German companies are interested in Uzbekistan’s market
The business forum “Days of the German Economy in Uzbekistan” and the 10th meeting of the Uzbekistan – Germany Business Council took place in Tashkent.
The forum was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Co-Chairman of the Uzbekistan – Germany Business Council, Abdulla Aripov, as well as Uwe Knotzer, General Partner of Knauf Group and Co-Chairman of the Council. In their speeches, they emphasized the ongoing development of partnership relations between Uzbekistan and Germany.
Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing, and Utilities Ozoda Jurayeva delivered a report on the introduction of modern approaches to the construction and utilities sectors, infrastructure development, and the broad application of international experience.
During the negotiations, the participants discussed prospects for expanding production of construction materials, improving energy efficiency, modernizing urban infrastructure, introducing green technologies, and implementing investment projects.
Special attention was given to training qualified personnel, introducing innovative solutions in the industry, and adapting advanced German experience to Uzbekistan’s practice.
The final part of the forum consisted of bilateral meetings and practical negotiations.
