The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, jointly planted an oak tree in the Alley of Honorary Guests at the Congress Center in the city of Samarkand.

The ceremony symbolized the centuries-old friendship and good neighborliness between the two brotherly nations and their firm commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
