Leaders of Uzbekistan and Qatar discuss current issues on the agenda

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev highly praised the active efforts of the Amir of Qatar to ensure peace and stability in the Middle East.

The two leaders discussed bringing the strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar to a new level. They noted with particular satisfaction the intensification of fruitful dialogue and exchanges at the highest and high levels.

During the telephone conversation, they agreed to take coordinated measures to intensify political dialogue and accelerate the implementation of trade, economic, and investment projects.

The leaders of Uzbekistan and Qatar also exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming high-level events.
