Colossal construction site on 300 hectares. The intensive construction work carried out here is striking in its scale. Imagine an eco-city with about three hundred high-rise buildings, shopping centers, sports complexes, and recreation areas.
We are talking about the ongoing work on the “Yangi O’zbekiston” neighborhood in Fergana. There are many small and large modern buildings in the region. The pace and quality of construction directly depend on building materials.
And now, a large project for cement production in Beshariq district has been implemented. Having become acquainted with the production process and talking with specialists, anyone will once again be convinced that the need for affordable cement is high.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his visit to Fergana region on July 27, launched ten new complexes. Among them is the enterprise for the production of cement in Beshariq district, a project implemented by Uzbekistan – China JV Fargona Yasin Qurilish Mollari.
After the visit of the President, we got acquainted with the activities of this enterprise.
“There is a great need for our products”, says Erkinjon Mahmudov, head of the enterprise. – The first stage was launched five years ago. Over the past period, production processes have been fully adjusted. We pay attention to improving the skills of workers and employees. We have delivered and installed modern imported equipment. The President pressed the symbolic button and launched the enterprise at total capacity. The 28-hectare project is fully operational due to the $200 million in foreign investment. Seven hundred jobs have been created. We, entrepreneurs, always feel the support of the Head of state. This is an essential factor for our further practical work.
Energy-saving equipment that runs on coal has been installed in the company. Experienced technologists from abroad are attracted to improve the skills of employees.
The land on which the project was implemented needed to be more suitable for agriculture. However, the region has extensive reserves of raw materials required for production.
Now this company is ready to produce 2 million tons of cement annually. It should be emphasized that such a volume is essential for the construction industry.
“Your country has created great opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs”, says Guan Zhong Wu, an investor from China. – I think it needs to be used effectively. The enterprise for the production of cement in Beshariq district is fully operational. Now we are working on a new project. The possibility of creating a solar power plant with a capacity of 500 megawatts on 800 hectares not used in agriculture is being considered. It is also planned to launch another new enterprise for producing 2 million tons of cement per year in Akhangaran district of Tashkent region.
Modern technologies for product sales have been introduced at Fargona Yasin Qurilish Mollari. For this, special plastic cards have been issued to regular customers, and terminals have been installed at the cargo receipt centers. These terminals exchange data with weighing and sales departments. When exporting products, an automatic invoice is generated.
Expanding the number of such large enterprises in the country contributes to developing the construction industry and the entire economy.
